Valcourt’s images collide street-level urgency with the scale and confidence of contemporary history painting.
Layered figures, crowns, skeletal forms, repeated marks and flashes of handwritten language create works that feel excavated from the city itself. The compositions resist quiet decoration: they carry rhythm, tension and a direct physical presence that becomes more powerful at architectural scale.
The visual language draws on Art Brut, the layered strata of city walls and the wider lineage of neo-expressionism. Each physical edition is produced to collector specification, catalogued, authenticated and documented by Studio 54 Fine Art.
Studio disclosure
Pierre Valcourt is a disclosed contemporary studio project presented by Studio 54 Fine Art. The artist’s hand is extended through generative and computational image-making; the gallery confirms the exact format, dimensions, edition number, production surface and collector documentation in writing before acquisition.
